Being a pro photographer for more than 15 years,  I know most professional photographers, who artfully curate images with lighting, posing and well thought out themes in their photography service, would tend to avoid having sessions at your home. Being able to work with artificial lighting is necessary to create consistent quality art especially indoors and in Portland weather. When compared to only natural light photographers who are at the mercy of good weather and timing, being able to curate what you want in any situation is much more preferable. You may think it is hard to get out with a little one, but unless you have someone to clean up your house and stage your house, I think it would be a better experience to have a studio newborn session in Portland.
