Some families love the timeless look of a classic portrait, while others prefer a more natural, relaxed feel. I believe both have their place. When I was little, my family would visit studios for formal photos. I still cherish those pictures and the effort my parents made to capture them. But over time, I also came to love the in-between moments; the laughter, the curiosity, the small gestures that show who we really are.
During each session, I try to bring both worlds together: a mix of gently guided portraits and candid moments that unfold naturally. My goal is to capture what feels real. The warmth in a glance, the comfort of an embrace, and the beauty of simply being together.
Before Your Session
After you reach out through our contact form, we’ll schedule a complimentary online video consultation. It’s a relaxed way to get to know you and your family, talk about your style, and make a plan that feels right. We’ll chat about what helps your kids feel comfortable, your favorite type of location, and we will plan out your session day.
During the Session
Your session will move at an easy pace so everyone can settle in and have fun. Coordinating colors and soft tones always look beautiful, but what matters most is that you feel like yourselves. Sessions usually last around two hours, giving us time for both relaxed portraits and playful moments.
For little ones, I like to keep things simple; maybe some bubbles, a small toy, or just space to explore. The best photos often happen when everyone forgets the camera and just enjoys the time together.
Afterward
About two weeks after your session, we’ll invite you back to the studio to see your images in a custom slideshow. You can choose your favorites and explore how you’d like to display them. From handcrafted albums to timeless wall art made to last for generations. Each piece is created with care so your family’s story can be enjoyed, remembered, and shared for years to come.
