There is nothing quite like those first days with a newborn. The wonder, the tenderness, and the quiet moments between breaths create memories that stay in your heart forever.
At Kimi Photography, we love capturing that feeling of newness and love. Some of my favorite moments happen when a mother’s eyes fill with happy tears as she sees her baby’s portrait for the first time, or when a father smiles with pride at the images on the screen. Those reactions remind me why I do what I do. These photographs are more than pictures; they are memories of love at its purest.
It will be our honor to photograph your bundle of joy. Every session is approached with care, patience, and respect for how special this time is. My goal is to create images that feel timeless and artwork that your family will treasure as your child grows.
What to Expect
Each newborn photography session is unique and tailored to each family. Because every photo shoot is different, we always reserve three hours for newborn sessions, allowing time to calm fussiness and for nursing and changing. We want to make sure that there is plenty of time to capture these precious moments while prioritizing your baby’s safety.
Timing and Investment
Newborns are best photographed between five and fourteen days after birth, when they are still sleepy and easy to pose naturally.
For our heirloom albums and artisan prints, we offer albums & collections starting at $980, along with an à la carte menu for individual pieces.
Each newborn session is a quiet collaboration of light, texture, and care. We use delicate fabrics and thoughtful details to keep your baby comfortable and secure while creating images filled with warmth and grace.These early days go by in a blink, but your portraits will hold on to their sweetness for generations to come.
