There’s nothing more beautiful than capturing the wonder, hope, and dreams that parents have for their newborn. At Kimi Photography a Portland Newborn Photographer we pursue capturing and expressing the love and emotion in every photograph. Seeing mothers tear up with joy when they see that special image of their baby. Having dads chuckle and grin at their little one as he watches the images we create for the first time. These are the emotions and actions we see that give us our enthusiasm to photograph newborns.
It will be our honor to photograph your bundle of joy. We recognize the importance of photographing your newborn and that is why we value each session and conduct it professionally. Our goal is to provide art that will last and be cherished throughout the years.
Newborn photography sessions
Each newborn photography session is unique and tailored to each family. Because every photo shoot is different, we always reserve three hours for newborn sessions, allowing time to calm fussiness and for nursing and changing. Some newborn photography may only take an hour while others will require the entire session. Regardless of the length of time, we want to make sure that there is plenty of time to capture these timeless pieces of art and memories.
Newborns are best photographed within 5 to 14 days of birth.
