I have worked with many mother-to-be ladies, and many of them mentioned that they feel not great with their look while they are pregnant. Pregnancy makes ladies gain weight and increase swelling, so I can understand why they feel that way. However, I also believe that maternity time is such a precious time to create and strengthen the bond between mother and the child. I would like them to be proud of who they are and how they look during the pregnancy. Maternity photos can showcase the beauty and strength of a pregnant body, and help mothers-to-be feel proud of their changing form. If you are going to have a maternity session and newborn session, I always recommend to choose a photographer who would include couple and families. Taking time out for a photo session can be a special bonding experience for couples or families as well.
